Urgent: Microwaving your Nintendo Gameboy Advance can result in mutation! Eyes may sprout as a side-affect to the chemicals in your device. Smelly odor only temporary!
Artist Kenny Irwin Jr., from Palm Springs, had placed his malfunctioning Gameboy Advance into his microwave to rid the device of its bad genes. What turned out was something that looked like it had been dipped in the bug-squash of your family car’s windshield. This actually grossed me out completely, its quite creepy. I will think of this every time I see someone playing a Nintento; I will ask them if theirs smells just as bad as this guys probably does. On a brighter note, finally some organic-synthesized electronics, a la Half-Life.
View Irwin’s Flickr page and watch the video below to see just what happens when you put a GameBoy into a microwave.
