The HD-era is still on the rise, and Blu-Ray is still looking to come out on top of DVDs (since HD-DVD has left the picture). Facing the problem that a Blu-Ray player is seriously expensive has caused it to be less of an option for people. However, SonyNEC Optiarc thinks that combo drives that play Blu-Ray and DVDs are expected to drop below $100 before the holiday season. Full report at TomsHardware.com.
