Amazon.com was down this afternoon for quite some time. Amazon stock (AMZN) even went down 4.6% to 80.63 because of the outage. While there is no comment officially from Amazon, speculation has it that Metal Gear Solid 4 is to blame. The web site had been hyped up to start selling an 80GB Metal Gear Solid 4 PS3 bundle for $499 this morning, and is now possibly a source for the outage. We don’t know, but its been a while since we saw that kind of activity for any game.
MGS4 has reached universal acclaim, receiving nearly perfect scores from reviews. Not bad! We should have our own review on the game sooner or later. Until then, check out this awesome trailer:
