There was this cool game called Max Payne that introduced “Bullet Time” into video games. This was around the same time as the Wachowski brothers’ movie, “The Matrix,” had used the affect for slow-motion action and watching bullets come to near-impact on the actors. The movie used the affect nicely, but they never made it look awesome. Max Payne perfected the slow-motion affect for video games and now we are looking at a movie to be released featuring the same action-packed goodness. Starring Mark Wahlberg (Italian Job) and Mila Kunis (That 70s Show), the movie is set to release mid-October.

And of course, the trailer.
