FoxkehWe knew it would happen, back on June 17th when Mozilla announced its “Download Day” initiative. How could it not be that Firefox is one of the most downloaded software applications on the Internet? They were successful in reaching their goal of setting a world record for “Most Software Downloads in 24 Hours”.

From 18:16 UTC on June 17, 2008 to 18:16 UTC on June 18, 2008, 8,002,530 people downloaded Firefox 3 and are now enjoying a safer, smarter and better Web.

If you participated in Download Day, SpreadFirefox.com has a certificate with your name on it waiting to be downloaded, thanking you for your support.
