The Sega Dreamcast has been dead for some time now. In a land where game consoles are ruled by the “big 3,” Sega has dropped out of the race. However, one developer is still faithful to the ghost system and is looking to release a new game by the end of August. DUX, a side-scrolling shooter game developed by HUCAST.net & KonTechs Ltd., will attempt to continue the Dreamcast legacy with great 2D high-resolution graphics.

Why are they doing such a thing? We’re not really sure, but there are quite a few die-hard fans of the Sega platform that will definitely be buying this game. We’re pretty certain, actually, that if Sega did come out with a new console, that it would be pretty good and have a lot of support. Would you like a new Sega console? What if the Dreamcast was resurrected?

This comes from Neogaf.com forums, and the official DUX web site at Hucast.net.
