Check out this new viral video of a 1970 NBS Nightly News report looking back at the then 10 year lifespan of Dr. Manhattan. The video is from the site thenewfrontiersman.net a viral site that has more small bits of the Watchmen universe. Nothing on the site is spoiler material but they do give fans a small taste of the atmosphere of the world within the film itself. Only 44 more days until Watchmen!
Watchmen is directed by Zack Snyder (of Dawn of the Dead and 300) and is written by David Hayter and Alex Tse. The film is an adaptation of Alan Moore’s highly acclaimed award winning graphic novel of the same name. Watchmen officially arrives in theaters everywhere on March 6th, 2009.
This excerpt from a 1970 edition of NBS Nightly News (anchored by NBS stalwart Ted Philips) features a special report from co-anchor Jim Sizemore looking back at ten years of Dr Manhattan.
