classic_pro_photo3The new Wii controller, dubbed the “Pro” controller, by Nintendo Japan, adds another set of trigger buttons as well as an easy-grip, easily some minor adjustments. Is Nintendo getting bored with their own system?

Comments aside, the controller looks to be more comfortable for gamers as well as offer two more buttons to mash while playing Super Smash Bros. Moreso, the controller will give FPS gamers some more control. Sources say that the Classic Pro may have sprung due to a pending lawsuit involving the current GameCube controller design. If Nintendo is forced to ditch the GC controller this will be their backup.

Sadly to say, this controller is only available in Japan with no known information about a North American release. Is there a need for this controller? You decide.
