050523_michaeljackson_hmed_3p.h2Michael Jackson, 50, throned as the King of Pop has deceased today, June 25, 2009. His music certainly started many trends, popularized an entire genre, and created lifestyles for many since he started singing and dancing in the 1980s. He transformed the music video. He is one of the very few who have been entered into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, twice, and holds a few accolades in the Guinness Book of World Records — which include one for “Most Successful Entertainer of All Time” and for the sale of over 750 million albums worldwide, the most of any artist, ever.

It is being reported that Michael suffered a heart attack in his home in California, was hospitalized, and confirmed by the Associated Press that the pop singer had indeed passed just before the evening.

His soul will be remembered in the heart of music forever, among many others who have passed before him. Rest in peace, King of Pop, Michael Jackson.

I still cannot believe he’s dead. I hope people will remember him for his music and not for the late scandals in his life.

It is definitely a tragedy, no one expected it at all. I’m still listening to his fantastic music and doing the “Whooo Hoo!” all the time.
