HTC has been working hard on the latest Android-powered touch screen phone, and we’re now seeing the work they’ve been putting into the new HTC Hero. The Hero has some impressive specs for a cell phone that can rival even the new iPhone 3Gs I’m sure you’ve heard about. Some strong points:
- 512MB of memory
- Android OS
- 5.0 megapixel color camera with auto focus
- 30-days standby time (really?)
- 7-hours talk time (what?!)
- Supports Adobe Flash out of the box
This phone sounds like it will have everything and is an ambitious phone. Leaks from the Internet have spoiled some details about the phone, but all is out in the open – this phone is serious power if HTC can deliver; they have in the past. The phone looks very promising. It will be released first in Europe come July, then in Asia, and finally in North America sometime late 2009, making us wait. Check out HTC’s product page for the Hero.
