The HTC Hero is now out for Sprint customers. The phone has received a very good reception from European users who got to play around with the Hero since July, and now United States customers will be able to get in on the action.

The phone uses the latest Android by Google operating system and the user interface looks fantastic. It has a 5.0 megapixel camera, Wi-Fi, and comes with a 2gb microSD card. We said the phone could have a talk time of 7 hours, but it has been downgraded to 5 hours of talk time. The Hero retails for $479.00 without a contract, and just $179.99 for new service contracts.
